Wow, what a gem! The hotel is like a cozy old tavern with charming decor and features like an amazing fireplace, jacuzzi, and a super comfy bed that almost made it hard to leave in the morning. However, some areas felt a bit dated with the smell of stale beer in the carpet. The bathroom setup was a bit unusual with the sink next to each other, but overall, a fantastic stay!

Staying at The Lodge at Crooked Lake was a pleasant experience overall. The rooms were spacious, but the carpet had a bit of an old tavern smell. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, always ready to assist us if we needed anything. The location was convenient for our family celebration, although we would have preferred rooms together. The dining experience was suboptimal with cold or microwaved options, but the succulent steaks made up for it.

The lodge property, with its unique 'North Woods' themed rooms like Bobcat Den, Coyote Howl, and Horned Owl, offered a cozy and rustic atmosphere. However, the check-in area had a slight odor reminiscent of an old tavern. The service was exceptional, with staff going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The location in the Northwoods of Wisconsin was convenient, with various amenities within walking distance, although some areas could use updating.

While the property could use updates in some areas, the facilities were generally sufficient for a comfortable stay. The pool area could benefit from a refreshment to match the charm of the lodge's theme.
